Grout - Multicrete Systems

Grout

Grout is a construction material used to embed rebar in masonry walls, connect sections of pre-cast concrete, fill voids, and seal joints. Grout is generally composed of a mixture of water, cement, sand, often color tint, and sometimes fine gravel.

Grout is a binding or structural agent used in construction and engineering applications. Grout is typically a mixture of hydraulic cement and water, with or without fine aggregate.

Grout is used to fill the cores or voids in hollow masonry units for the purpose of: bonding the masonry units, bonding the reinforcing steel to the masonry, increasing the bearing area, increasing the fire resistance, and improving the overturning resistance by increasing the weight.
