"Multicrete’s Megastick Dry Shotcrete ... is showing 24hr early strength of 17 Mpa. In our setting, I believe this is the most important factor from a ground control point of view. A product that can develop high early strength (ideally half it’s 28-day strength) provides minimal relaxation to the in-situ rock, and as such, a safe excavation with minimal delay in cycle time. The Multicrete Megastick also contains a high flexural strength. This is important as it increases the shotcrete’s resistance against percussive or sticking impact that it may experience from underground equipment...

U of M culvert rehab full scale testing
