Shotcrete is a construction technique that that describes spraying concrete or mortar with a dry mix, wet mix, or Multicrete’s Hybrid Wet® process. Simply, it is sprayed concrete.
Shotcrete undergoes placement and compaction at the same time due to the force with which it is projected from the nozzle. It can be sprayed onto any type or shape of surface, including vertical or overhead areas.
Uses
Shotcrete is used to stabilize rock and soil, to provide support to underground frames and headings, and for the structural repair or reinforcement of cement pilings, retaining walls and dams.
